East Austin just got a taste of Trinidad & Tobago. Twin Isle, the new brick-and-mortar from Chef Janelle Romeo (of Miss Shirley’s fame), brings bold island flavors in a cozy, carnival-colored space on Rosewood. From doubles and roti wraps to macaroni pie and curry goat, every bite feels like home cooking from T&T. We stopped in, tried the bowls, the roti, and the sorrel and came away convinced Twin Isle is one of the best Caribbean spots in Austin.
